Our COVID-19 Response

We are aligned with our shareholder The City of Calgary to provide a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and the community we work with. Effective October 5, 2021, we implemented a mandatory vaccination policy requiring all employees to be fully immunized by November 30, 2021, and requiring all guests and contractors of Calgary Economic Development to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of entering our office.

We remain committed to helping reduce the risk of COVID-19 while collaborating with business, government and community partners to position Calgary for long-term economic success.

Supporting our local business community and workforce is our main priority. For those hiring or looking for work, and for those businesses looking to resource open positions, our site Connecting YYC links Calgary job seekers with businesses in need of talent.

Camaraderie and community spirit continue to bring businesses together for shared prosperity. If you have a solution or offer for your peers, the broader YYC community or global economy, tell us about it at our YYC Business Marketplace
